Pink Floyd tattoos

Something a bit different for this contribution – the artist’s work appearing on a human canvas for a change! Pink Floyd fan Paul
Szczypka was spotted by our friend Mark Cunningham while he was at a community event, and Mark was taken by the incredible tattoos that Paul was sporting.
We asked Paul about the tattoos – why he had them, how long they took, and where he got them done: “Glad you liked the
tatts. The reason for having them done is quite simple really – I am a life-long Floyd fan, I bought Dark Side Of The Moon when it was released aged 11 and never looked back. I’ve seen them on every tour since The Wall through to Live 8, including David and Roger’s solo tours.

“The choice of albums was a mainly down to what would fit in with the basic Wall design; originally it was just an upper sleeve but extended onto my chest and back. They took about 35/40 hours altogether. I need one more on my chest and back, but haven’t decided what yet.
“I have to mention the artist and studio: Iain Parry at Shamanics Tattoos in Westcliff-
on-Sea, Essex.”

Beste Roger Waters Fans,
Na diverse geruchten kwam gisteren het bericht van Mark Fenwick:
Manager: Roger Waters overweegt tournee !!
Rick Wright Leaves £24 Million
Details of the late Rick Wright’s will have been revealed to show that Rick left around £24 Million, the majority going to his children, James, 42, Gala, 39, and Ben, 17. None of Rick’s three former wives (Juliette, Franka and Millie) were mentioned in the will. Rick also made arrangements in the will for ‘a really good party’ to be held for his friends – putting aside £20,000 with a guest list to be drawn up by James and Gala. They were also left their father’s house in Le Rouret, in south east France. Gala also inherited Rick’s prized Aston Martin DB5, and he left his cherished Bosendorfer piano to his son-in-law bassist Guy Pratt. The moral rights to his musical, literary and performance work were left to his children. (Pictured, Rick with former wife Millie & son Ben in happier times).
